My mission is to empower entrepreneurs across the food value chains to create sustainable solutions and thrive in the competitive landscape, guided by design thinking and systems thinking.
Food insecurity is not a concept that is foreign to me. Some of the families who lived on my street were struggling to make ends meet and I could see their lived experience firsthand. I knew that if I was ever going to make an impact in food security, I would need to start from the place that I understood, with a market that I knew. We make the most impact in the places where we have the most understanding.
